idk why I made this an entire project when I could've just wrote it alongside Chapter 2, it's kinda been bothering me for a while so I figured to do it sooner than later :) so if you've been paying attention to my account as of late, you may know about my webcomic Scratch Quest. I'm currently working on Chapter 2, but there are a few things I still wanna clear up. First... I'm sorry for the "marketing" on this. I may have gotten a little too over-ambitious with the story. I did several animation memes and two drawing request projects, all of which may or may not have spoiled parts of the story. And now that I'm actually doing it, so many expectations have been set on me to do it "right." Not to mention I procrastinate like, A LOT. This isn't to say I've already lost interest in it. I've been anticipating this plot for 6 WHOLE YEARS ever since joining Scratch, and I feel like knowing the site's current status that I need to do this more than ever, even if only like 0.01% of the site sees it. So yeah, SQ's not going away. I just REALLY wish I was more prepared :P With that being said, for those still anticipating this, please do me a favor: be patient and DON'T ASK ME ABOUT WHEN THE NEXT CHAPTER IS (I'm sorry if my tone sounds a little harsh, I just want to express my true feelings here). Even though I procrastinate and work on other stuff a lot, drawing still takes a lot of effort and I don't always have enough time to do it. Imagine if YOU'RE working on a "passion" project that people online suddenly start pressuring you to finish, and when you finally do so, all they show is disappointment. I genuinely don't want to hurt anyone's feelings just by writing this, it's just that... I also don't want to give myself a hard time, so please, just wait until the next chapter is released. Thank you :) Oh and while you wait, why not check out some other comics on this site? ToPH! Crystals! FiTD! Heck, even my comic collab with @100daysonly and @babyboy246! Or even just another series in general! You don't have to JUST follow this one. The creators deserve it :) I know said earlier I don't want to feel like my efforts are for nothing, but I'm not saying you shouldn't be bothered by something about it either. This year I'll try to be more "open" to criticism so I can improve. You can criticize it any way you want, as long as you offer actual constructive advice on how to make it better. also Stardrift is likely cancelled because I've lost motivation on it and no one seems to care anyway- IM SORRY FOR THOSE WHO ACTUALLY DO I REALLY TRIED TO BE ATTACHED TO THE CHARACTERS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE BUT THE AMOUNT I HAVE RN AINT APPROPRIATE FOR SCRATCHHHH- /j
