Following the events of Heartbeat, JCJenson in SPAAAAAAAACE, INC, realized that Absolute Solver was... imperfect, to say the least. They couldn't contain it, since the drones, upon death, would mutate into terrible monsters. Just saying the words "drone" and "mutate" in the same sentence made some of the executives nauseous. Their solution: Develop the program until the drone could control it, rather than the program controlling the drone. The scientists figured out that having a personality wasn't enough for a drone to control Absolute Solver, so they buried the program in protocols and failsafes until it could effectively obey commands. The final result is the Resource Reallocation Initiative: an attempt to wipe previous instances of Absolute Solver from existence and revitalize the planet they destroyed in one go. And if they can take out the workers too, that's just the icing on the cake. Whether it's effective, however, remains to be seen.
