Tales Of Luna Primary By AJWombat Chapter 1 The Start Cars flew past as I ran, I took a quick glancing at my fluro orange watch noticing every minute quickly tick by. 5 minutes late, 6 minutes late. My legs were starting to feel like they were burning. Yes, I could see the school. I sprinted to the gate thinking of an apology, ‘4 time this week you were late’ Mrs Taylor would say. I couldn’t use I forgot to make my lunch as I used that yesterday. I pictured the tall women standing at the gate shaking her head and looking at the floor. I slowed down I knew she would yell if she spotted me running on concrete. Turning the sharp corner I was shocked to see under the name Luna Primary, it was empty with no head shaking teacher in sight. I waltzed proudly, back up straight and a big smile going from ear to ear ‘I beat her’ I thought ‘I finally beat her.’ I entered the school still smiling I nodded at the statues of gods. BANG!!! The gate slammed closed, I went to open it for the late students but it wouldn’t budge it was locked. 2 more bangs followed as all the other gates closed and likely locked, I heard cries and screams as a herd of scared kids ran in front of me. ‘What?!?’ I thought. I stared, trying to spot a student I knew to find out what in the world was happening. “Tiffany,” I yelled. Tiff my scared friend started running towards me. “Joseph!” Tiff smiled and suddenly looked relived and puzzled “Why of all days did you have to be early today!” Her voice suddenly got a bit stern and angry. “What?!
