STORY: I just want to start off by saying if you want an answer at the end, prepare to be disappointed. There just isn't one. I was an intern at Nickelodeon Studios for a year in 2021 for my degree in animation. It wasn't paid of course, most internships aren't, but it did have some perks beyond education. To adults it might not seem like a big one, but most kids at the time would go crazy over it. Now, since I worked directly with the editors and animators, I got to view the new episodes days before they aired. I'll get right to it without giving too many unnecessary details. They had very recently made the 3rd SpongeBob movie and the entire staff was somewhat sapped of creativity so it took them longer to start up the season. But the delay lasted longer for more upsetting reasons. There was a unreleased final spongebob season finale set everyone and everything back for several months. Me and two other interns were in the editing room along with the lead animators and sound editors for the final cut. We received the copy that was supposed to be "the very final spongebob finale" and gathered around the screen to watch. Now, given that it isn't final yet animators often put up a mock title card, sort of an inside joke for us, with phony, often times lewd titles, such as "How Things doesn't work" instead of "Rock-a-bye-Bivalve" when SpongeBob and Patrick adopt a sea scallop. Nothing particularly funny but work related chuckles. The episode starts out with the normal intro, nothing was out of the ordinary, but when it showed the title card it got a little bit weird. The title for the episode was called "Yellow Mist" The the text was white and orange, and the background was a parollelagram background. The episode was the same as "Red Mist", But the color was yellow and it was about Spongebob. It starts out with the houses of Spongebob and Patrick, Squidward's house is nowhere to be seen. Spongebob is seen in his house practicing the drums for his concert. We can then hear Pearl running around, Spongebob then tells Spongebob to knock it off because he has a music test with Squidward to practice for. SBSP then rides his patty wagon to go to the Krusty Krab, as he passes by Sandy's treedome we can hear Sandy grunting in pain as she drowns because her dome is broken. She then explodes, after that we see Spongebob walking in a forest. The screen then cuts to a shot of Spongebob's patronized face and he looked blue. We then see a shot of Spongebob's face up close where we see his eyes that looked like the "Red Mist" eyes, but they were yellow. We then hear Spongebob crying. It went on for a while, then it cut to a shot of Spongebob's eyes. His eyes were less yellow. Then after that Spongebob was crying black liquid just like the "Max And Ruby 0004" episode. It cut to Sandy's treedome again, and we can see Spongebob laying down in her bench. He then closes his eyes, another layout shows Spongebob holding a knife. The screen then cuts to black, then we go into the woods where we see Spongebob laying dead on the floor with blood. It then cuts to the credits, and was not out of the ordinary. Then a black screen shows up with white text saying "Directed by Dumped"
