-Sand(wo)men Sand(wo)men come from the world Yardek- a planet of intense heat. Nothing can survive there but sand- and the praised cactus-like dr^g, Nif. Sandmen are often put to work in the Nif plantations- against their will, usually- to supply for their families. Sandwomen can be sent here as well…. But the world Yardek is extremely bias to women. Sandwomen are often sent home to care for their own house, or if virgined/widowed, sent as slaves to the richer Sand(wo)man population. The more land and Nif you have, the higher you are of rank in Yardek. It’s basically an Anarchy. Nif has horrible affects on people- in fact, Sand(wo)men used to be human. But when they were stranded in the desert by the deity known as Umbra for their refusal of sacrifice, the Nif was all they could eat. It deformed them, causing their bodies to harden to rock and their eyes to glow several different shades of the color green. It caused their hair to thin to the point where they became literal particles of sand, constantly streaming down their backs like miniature waterfalls. Sand(wo)men are incredibly strong, though slow. They can withstand incredibly powerful physical attacks, and pack a fatal punch with their stone-like fists. Otherwise, they possess no magic. They are mortal, and die naturally around the age of 70. They wear very little clothes- really just rags over the necessities. Though, the richer ones deck themselves in the spines of the Nif- often used as jewelry for its odd glimmer. Humans- This is kinda implied but imma explain anyways. Humans in this RP do not have magic and must use their wit to get by. The royal family, actually, are all humans- and evidentially are powerless. Humans come from the world Etheria- similar to earth, but much more high-tech… but in a western sort of fashion? The climate of Etheria varies, just like that of earth, though there are no seasons. Whichever region you live in is basically moderate year round. Obviously, they’re mortal. Horians- Horians are small, demon-like creatures with long and thin whip-like tails, usually tipped with some sort of shape (spade, diamond, circle, etc.). Horians don’t age- the length of their tail tells their age instead. They start as stubs as infants and end long- usually as long as their body is tall. Fun fact: Horians come from eggs. Horians are mortal, though they live a few hundred years. Their natural age of death is around 500. Their home planet, Drrram, is the exact opposite of Yardek- freezing and covered in ice. Horians live in caves under the ground- usually dug with their long claws. Horians can survive below-zero temperatures, though too much cold can still kill them. Upon entering warmer spaces, Horians must wear odd collar-like necklaces, laced with an ice charm. Horians have magic- though it’s limited to mild and ranged weather control. Horians are VERY short- never getting above 5 feet , and are incredibly quick on their feet. Their skin is often different shades of blue, and their eyes range colors- though red is the most common. They usually dress in furs from the creatures on their planet- which consist of wooly mammoth-like creatures called San, wolves of only an inch in length called Dwark, and several odd fur-covered plants, only edible to the taste buds of the Horians.
-Tremagr (inspired by @Jro2008) Tremagr are plant-shapeshifters. They live forever, if they’re not killed. In their human forms, Tremagr can only be distinguished by a few small features- unearthly, seemingly glowing skin, a white triangular marking hidden somewhere on their face, and sharper than natural teeth. Tremagr are very connected to the environment, and deem the trees their brothers and sisters. They don’t worship or sacrifice to Umbra- and are one of the few species that get away with it. Tremagr each have a different plant they can turn into, and each can communicate and understand with nature. In their sleep, Tremagr’s spirits leave their bodies and soar freely. They’re often known to possess travelers on their planet, Quorra, as punishment for disrespect to nature- but otherwise they aren’t hostile… except for the few rouges who’ve been known to exist throughout the years. They’re known to dress elegantly and live in an extremely rich and lush environment. Tremagr are by far one of the most fortunate species of the five worlds- and aren’t spotted often in El Dorado because of this. Gnooaammaaaz (this was fun to spell :>)- Often nicknamed “Goa”… because the full name is a mouthful. Goa are vampire-like beings who live off of the life force of living things. These creatures are undead and zombie-like with sharp often yellowed fangs that graze their lower lip and black-and-white hair decorating their forehead in odd patterning. Their skin is often multicolored as well- usually pale with odd pastel-colored splotches, though some can rarely appear darker skinned. Goa are made when one dies and seeks revenge- but die at the hands of the person whom they sought revenge on. These are coming increasingly more common, though they used to be very rare, and can even be tamed by the priests of Umbra with the right ritual. The tamed Goa are allowed to live in El Dorado, though are still often feared. Wild Goa suck lifeforces by sinking their fangs into the flesh of the thing they’re sucking them from. Take Goa lose that ability. Goa all have increased senses, though they’re slow and weak in physical strength. They can become invisible for short amounts of time, and their fangs still offer a painful bite when they’re tame. The wild Goa tend to wear very dark clothes, while the newer ones have learned to loosen it up a bit- Goa clothing options are nearly as vast as a humans. Be cReAtIve.
