Backstory Csilla has always loved the sky. She used to run away every night to go and gaze at the stars for hours on end. Her parents would scold her for it, but she was too entranced by the sky to listen, or care. She was gazing at the sky one night, when she thought, why do I have to live with my parents? I don’t have to be taken care of anymore, I can take care of myself! So, on one moonlit night, she saw her chance. She snuck out of their den, and bounded into the fresh air. This is what she’d always wanted. To be free, in the wild. She’d run through meadows, swim through streams, jump over gorges, feeling free as a bird. One night, though, it happened. She had been in the forest, helping injured animals throughout the whole day. She’d come back wearily, to tired to even look at the sky. She settled down to sleep, but as her consciousness was fading, she heard a soft, sweet song. It’s gentle words carried her, up into the night sky, where she saw herself, gazing up at the sky. There was a bright light somewhere, she thought. Where is it? Then she realised. It was her. She was the bright light. It was blue, pink, even green, spreading all across the night sky like a blanket. Then, as she watched herself down below, she realised the truth she’d half known all along. I am the sky, she thought. I have two spirits, two minds, two bodies. I’m both.
