You might have heard of the mathematical constant pi (π), but have you ever heard of tau (τ)? Tau’s decimal form is 6.28… which makes today (6/28) tau day! Press the green flag and tap/press space to advance through the slides, explaining what tau is mathematically, and exploring different ways to calculate it, including one that I came up with myself! (Turbo mode might be helpful for some approximations - shift-click the green flag if any of the approximations seem to be going slowly) My hope with this project, is to inspire many scratchers to create fun, and creative math projects!
