It's about time :')) I've been keeping it from you guys for so long XD And never really made any hints about it, not like you guys wanted to follow along lol- But here goes, you guys are getting Anchor's backstory that's been set in my head for so long, since probably about last year, summer? Fall? Yay :')) Now like I said, I'm feeling this is kinda repetitive and could be better, but I mean this backstory was from a year ago. I was about to say two, but remember, it's not 2023 yet lol So almost 2 years ago, but not quite. It was also like this at the beginning of this year too X'D Anyways, I've stalled long enough lol. Let's get right into it: Anchor wasn't really anything special, but what he thought his most unique feature was his hands, that looked constantly pale and cold. He didn't know how they got that way, but they were always like that. Of course though, his few friends always asked why they were, sometimes even if they knew that he didn't know the reason. He was happy like this, though, with his parents, friends, and a few minutes away from the city; this was home to him. But when he was eight, his mom got terribly sick. Anchor and his dad- both knowing that his mom was a fighter- were trying to keep to the positive side and hoped she would recover. But a week after she fell ill, she passed away. The last thing he has left of her was a raven necklace that she gave to him only a few weeks before. For the next few years, his dad and him lived alone, trying to keep up with everything happening. It was hard to keep everything in order and "be happy" with Anchor's mother gone, but they tried their best. It continued on like that until suddenly his dad told him to pack his keepsakes and things closest to him and they fled the house. He was only told a few details on why they were running, and that was because certain people were chasing them down. But he was never told anymore details on that either. They fled into a part of the city Anchor never saw before and one night, his dad took them to a rather peaceful part of it and- after only a slow breath- he began to walk away. Of course, Anchor didn't know what was going on so he grabbed his father's arm and asked him why he was leaving him. "It's for the best," were the last things he said to him before pulling away from Anchor's grip and left him on the streets. Shortly after, though, someone took him in, and it didn't seem very coincidental to him. (Let me explain something real quick so it doesn't all seem coincidental to you either: Anchor's dad knew this person that took him in, but they were very distant. At this point, he knew it wouldn't be safe for Anchor to be with him if they were after them (specifically A's dad himself) and he contacted her by a non-electronic way; because Anchor was probably going to be part of STR (but is maybe not now), I was thinking how he did this could be supernatural, but it might also be that way if he isn't in it. Anyways, he asked for this friend to take him, and he left Anchor in an attempt to keep his son safe. Makes more sense now I hope) Anyways were were we- ah yes. Because Anchor didn't know why his dad did this, he became angry at him but didn't really see if there was anything he could do about it, as he probably wouldn't see him again. He wasn't really happy with any of this, to be completely honest, but he tried to be grateful that he wasn't living out on the streets. But then he met a girl his age who- to say the least- changed his life. Before he was sadder, scared, and really just unhappy in general (I think you've gathered that), but she helped him become someone new; a friendly joker yet somewhat sly, and he was given the chance to just forget everything that happened in the past. He was happier than he ever was in a long time, and always looked forward to seeing and spending time with her every day. But one day that all changed when some people- yes, those people from before (they were plotted to be after him)- started to chase them. And they were out for bl00d, as some would say. So Anchor, not knowing how to defend himself, and much less two people at once, took off with his friend following him. He thought he would've lost them until he realized she wasn't behind him. He quickly and frantically looked for her until he found her dying in another part of an alley. And no, she didn't survive. That death of another loved one shocked him, and it took him a little bit to return to himself. But Anchor kept his annoying and joking nature when he didn't have to force himself, and he dearly misses her every day. And he does sometimes get stuck in the past even now, and wears his necklace in remembrance of his mom (and also because he thought it looked good). So there you go, that's Anchor's backstory lol

Now I realized that there might actually be some similarities between Anchor's and John's backstories…like they both somehow lost their parents (although one of Anchor's is still ali-) and then had a best friend and "lost" them too. (I quoted lost because Lillian is still alive apparently, okay lol) Though whether Anchor kinda liKeD (*winkwink*) this friend of his is undetermined, so maybe he did, maybe he didn't ;') It's probably pretty likely he didn't though X'D Anyways, there it is, after all this time lol. Not super special pfft- still hope it's alright though, I guess. Frosty's backstory, or Rolaine's backstory, or Bladed's backstory or Therego's or practically anybody's backstory other than in-general OCs (not counting Frosty or Anchor, Frosty's basically an rp OC now lol), will have to remain a secret for a while >:")) Except for a few certain people. I can share it with you if you like.
