Description

Here's your friendly heads-up that in exactly 30 days (Jan. 25th), my teenage era will be over. It feels really weird that it's almost time for me to become an adult, especially as an autistic user in a site made specifically for the young ones. But the thing is, I've been one of those young ones too, and over the course of those years I've grown up and made so much memories, including... some I'd wish I didn't need to remember. But hey, at least when you make mistakes, you can learn from them and move on, right? That definitely should be the case for every person on the planet to understand. There are going to be things in your life that will try to make you look down and cover your face with your hands as you try to process the incident(s) or whatever, no matter if it's going to stay with you forever or for a limited time only. (Trigger warning on next paragraph about passing away, please proceed with caution.) | | | | Trust me, I've seen someone lose three of their important people to car accidents, not to mention those loses all happened in the same month and during their preparations for their surgery. My empathy tells me that if the same thing happened to me, it would feel like all my hope will be lost for a few years. Heck, maybe even decades for that matter. And as someone who likes to put a lot of comedy into their work, this would definitely be something I shouldn't consider to be a joke, because, as we all know by now, losing someone you have wholeheartedly cared about isn't funny. It's not even supposed to be from the very beginning. If you're just a person who thinks that happiness should be your only feeling, please remember that there are moments that you and we can't prevent from happening. And yes, it is going to be tough to get over those inevitable or unlucky things once they happen. But don't you worry. It might take a very long time for you, but eventually, the incident(s) will become a thing from the past once you have successfully realized that things can get better if you make the right decisions and keep you head held high. When you are trying to process things, you are training your mental stability to become stronger and stronger. That right there is what makes you more human, even if you're just getting started. All you need to do is keep moving forward. And above all else... Never. Give. Up.
