CHAPTER 2 Darkened Paw yawned as she padded out of the Barn. She has just decided that it was time to hunt. She hopped over the fence, and then continued to try and sniff out some food to hunt. "Hey, look! It's that Rogue from before! I though I told you to get out of our territory!" the high-pitched female voice from before hissed. Darkened Paw sighed, before grumbling and sitting down. "So? Are you gonna leave?" she asked, beginning to circle Darkened Paw. "This isn't your territory! It belongs to no-one!" Darkened Paw hissed, before the unknown she-cat launched herself at Darkened Paw. But before the two could actually begin to fight, a voice growled from beside them. "Sunset Paw! Get off the rogue! Can't you see the poor thing is blind?" a low, male voice grumbled, before Sunset Paw jumped off. "Thank you" Darkened Paw thanked the unknown tom kindly. "It's perfectly fine, dear. Plus, I had to stop my Apprentice from fighting someone for no reason" the tom explained. Sunset Paw rolled her eyes in the background. "So, what brings you to our clan's territory, young Rogue?" he asked, smiling. "I am hunting. But, I thought this part of the territory didn't belong to anyone in particular" she explained, rolling into a sitting position. There was a small pause. "It's fine, you wouldn't know. But, there are mice in the barn, are there not? Why aren't you just hunting the barn mice?" the tom asked. "The barn mice often carry disease. My mother is already old and prone to diseases, I don't want to be the reason she gets one" she sighed in explanation. There was a long pause, before the tom-cat finally spoke again. "..Why not just join a clan?"
