Ethav, a black tear running down his deathly skin, grabbed at Omega, wrenching him back. "Run, run and go back! You're falling apart! Look at yourself! Save yourself and run!" Omega looked down at his blood-drenched body, and was taken aback. Old stitches, so long that he thought they were indestructible, had torn. Hundreds of years had they lasted, and now they rip? Impossible - but it wasn't. "Ethav... I can't come back from this." Ethav snarled, "Shut up and get out of here! I'm not about to lose you too!" "Ethav," he said, mimicking the voice of the one who had caused these deep cuts, "I'm not coming back from these." "Don't use that voice on me, I know exactly who it's from. Do you want to be like that twisted man? I don't care. It doesn't soothe me." Omega winced from those words. "Fine. But we can't fix this." "Yes, we can," Ethav hissed as the sounds of the Daevites came closer and closer. "No. Let me go," Omega asserted - this was no request. He zapped Ethav, and his grip unhanded. Getting up, holding his own internals together inside, he stumbled out into the line of Daevites, waiting to destroy the both of them. Omega turned back one last time. "Run. Now. Make this one count, Ethav."

What a horrible way to die, eh? Probably one of the worst, right? Right? Yeah... about that. Arcanus's death was worse. I mean, he deserved it, but it was so brutal I don't think I could even talk about it here. If you're unlucky enough to get in my stories, your death will either be beyond cruel and painful, or the most poetic, peaceful thing a man can experience.
