Normal ice rinks are just made of normal ice with a normal reflection, but at the Crystalline Illusion Ice Rink, we don't settle for normal though. To spice up the holiday season, this ice rink's ice could alter your reflection's appearance, size, position, and even how they blink! It's almost like the Oddball Mirror Hall, except the reflections are under you instead! As they say: "Hopefully your memories here are to REFLECT upon, heh!" Just make sure you dress up in an outfit suitable for cold weather, and don't forget your ice skates! ===== HOW TO REMIX ===== Want to add a character to this vast magical ice rink? Follow these instructions carefully to get them in: 1. Scroll down below these instructions & read the rules! DON'T proceed until you've done this! 2. Click the green "Remix" button at the top-right corner. 3. Create a duplicate of the "TEMPLATE" sprite. (right-click the sprite on the sprite list, then click "duplicate") 4. Create your character! Replace every costume in the duplicated sprite with your character using the costume names and template costumes as a guide to what they should be. Make sure their bottom/base is at the center of the costumes! Further guidance can be found in the "DOs and DON'Ts" sprite. 5. Set the "Hello!" custom block to feature your name. I also recommend you rename the sprite name, too. 6. Test your project &, if you like the result, either continue to add more characters or share it! BONUS: You're also allowed to add more music tracks. The rules can be found inside of the thumbnail sprite in this project (read these before remixing).
Credit to @TheStarSpirit and everyone else who remixed. ===== What's New ===== I finally managed to make my second remix of my holiday special AY, the Crystalline Illusion Ice Rink. For this remix, I mostly just made alignment fixes (including direction) and tweaks to some characters, but also added some soundtracks and a DIFFERENT STYLE reflection type for my characters BlueStreak, Nanobross, and Skylar each. Some changes that I had to make to some costumes (excluding alignment fixes) are: ELI: - Changed the SNOWMAN reflection to match his hat and shirt color, to bear more resemblance to his actual character. This reflection has also been scaled downward. - Added his hat to his PENGUIN reflection and a mini version of himself to his TOY reflection for the same reason above. - The DIFFERENT TRANSPORT and DIFFERENT STYLE reflections that were provided in remix 1 after remix 2 was made are now ported over (the latter needed to be scaled downward). 463STUDENT: - His INVISIBLE reflection facing right is now actually the INVISIBLE costume instead of his UPSIDE-DOWN reflection. - His NEON reflection is also now glowing, something suggested by me and @Burgnew_On_A_Laptop for characters who are already neon. - His SUPERHERO reflection also now has a cape to better prove that he's a superhero. - The SNOWMAN reflection also now has more resemblance to his actual character. - The PENGUIN reflection is also now scaled downward so it isn't too big. - His TOY and GIFTWRAPPED reflections were slightly changed to resemble the respective reflection type. - One last change for him: His DIFFERENT TRANSPORT reflection now actually depicts him using a different transport (sliding on the ice) instead of just coloring him red. The old version of the reflection is now his 6th DIFFERENT STYLE. NOAH: - Removed the character template text that somehow slipped though in some of Noah's costumes. STAR4096: - All of Noah's reflection types with text now have the text flipped so it is readable when the reflection occurs in the project. - His SUPERHERO reflection also now has a cape to better prove that he's a superhero. A shadow has been added as well to better signify that he's flying. - The sleeves for his SNOWMAN reflection now match his character as opposed to using my sleeves. - I decided to remove the text for his REINDEER reflection because I found it relatively concerning towards the reindeer species. - His GIFTWRAPPED reflection now has his head sticking out the gift to bear more resemblance to his actual character. - His DIFFERENT TRANSPORT reflection now actually depicts him using a different transport (sliding on the ice) instead of a recolor of 463student. The old version of the reflection is now his 6th DIFFERENT STYLE, with an added hat to bear more resemblance to his actual character. - His now 1st DIFFERENT STYLE also has a hat added for the same reason as the 6th DIFFERENT STYLE. - Finally, his 2nd and 3rd DIFFERENT STYLE reflections were downscaled so they aren't too big to see the other skaters, the former also had a face added to it to bear more resemblance to his actual character. Lastly, the soundtracks I added were Dessert Minigame (Pac Man Party), How Do I Get in (Mario Party 4), and Snowboarder Mickey (Disney's Magical Mirror). (The former 2 cannot be heard by users who don't want party game music). Almost forgot, I fixed a bug with the thumbnail where characters that weren't picked to be on the thumbnail would sometimes scatter on the thumbnail in strange places. If I remix again, I might actually add Ringy & G-RAY... Well, Happy Holidays!
