Riverkit yawned, and stretched. One by one, the other kits woke up. They all nodded to eachother, as if they knew what to do. Riverkit led, with Greykit trying to push to the front. Savannahkit was hanging at the end, and Dragonkit was in the middle. They went down the stairs, and to the tree. "GIFTS!!!" Greykit squealed, followed by Riverkit. Dragonkit dashed forward, and took a long look at the gifts. "What are they?" They asked, shaking the box. "Hurry! Open them before-" It's too late. Cinderstar's paw steps echoed down the stairs. Riverkit, went to the ac. Greykit went to the bookshelf, and Savannahkit went to the kitchen. Dragonkit panicked, but Savannahkit pulled them into the kitchen. Cinderstar easily spotted them, but didn't say anything. She grabbed her Santa hat, before any of them saw, and grabbed a sack of the rest of the gifts she had brought for them. All the kits gasped, as they saw what looked like Santa Claus, walk to the tree. They kept scilent though. Cinderstar ate the cookies and milk, which were actually quite refreshing as a midnight snack. "It's Santa Claus!" Riverkit squeaked in a whisper. "He's really here!" Greykit soon followed. Cinderstar set the gifts down, and walked to the front door. She relucently walked outside. Everyone got out of their hiding spots, and dashed straight to the gifts. Just as they were about to get their paws on them, Komodostar walked towards them. "Don't think you can get your gifts right now. You have to wait till Christmas." The kits groaned. "But..." Savannahkit started. "Isn't it technically Christmas? It is midnight, the very start of December 25th." Komodostar looked over the kits, with their pleading faces. He sighed. Then grinned. "Alright, two early gifts for each of you." All of them squeaked with joy, as they dashed to the pile of presents. Cinderstar came back in, her Santa hat was off, but she was shivering from the outside cold. She has obviously just came in. "You're a good dad." She smiled, looking at the other kits.
