If you are lucky enough, you might find a material known as Aetherum in the snow. Aetherum is a powdery substance which is most likely a compound. It also seems to contain some form of magic due to it's strange effects. Due to the discovery of it being very recent, only one effect has been discovered, which is Aetherum being attracted to the most hot thing nearby. For example, if Aetherum is placed next to a cup of boiling water, it will be pulled towards it like metal next to a magnet. Due to this, when Aetherum is put inside bullets, it homes into the target slightly, leaving more room for error in shots. The effect with bullets doesn't work in deserts though.
