In that instant, I felt a wave of fear wash over my body. Fear for the world . That it might be destroyed. "Destruction" was another word I had never heard before. Like "terror", it had the same terror as the other. So I asked, as a joke, if they could be a "Destruction." "No," said Doodle. That word meant nothing to me at all. Not in my mind. There was no way to explain it to anyone. All I ever saw was fear. No wonder they were so terrified. What was the point of being here? I wondered. Was it a place of refuge from the terror that would surely come, or a trap set in place by the government? "What is the difference?" asked Emily.
