(Art and Story completely by me) [Known History of Pesménos the Legend] - by Ventus Aquilo (1754 AD) ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– This 2754 year old Spartan is a centaur who was raised during the founding of Sparta (1000 BC), he fought for his home for many years until he retired to be a simple royal guard (672 BC). He was assigned to the princess of Sparta at the time and the two fell for eachother almost immediately. The two lived a happy decade together until one fateful day when Pesménos had to go to battle with her as the commander (660 BC), while in combat, one of the enemy threw a spear that wouldʻve taken Pesménosʻs life but before the spear hit Pesménos…the princess jumped in the way of the spear and sacrificed herself to save Pesménos. Pesménos was banished from Sparta after the battle was over, for he had failed his duty of protecting the princess, if not for how much Pesménos had helped Sparta over the years, Pesménos would have been executed. Pesménos then went into hiding for 300 years to grieve the loss of his lover, slowly being forgotten by everyone. When he had finally reemerged (360 BC), he ended up wandering around Ancient Greece until he accidentaly found Mount Olympis. He climbed up until he reached the sacred temple and begged for one of the gods to take his life. Instead, Ares and Athena, the God of war and the Goddess of Wisdom, decided to make Pesménos their little errand boy, making Pesménos accomplish great feats with the promise of fulfilling his wishes after he was done with all of them. Eventually, he came across a peculiar village that had the blessing of Dionysus (307 BC), he helped the townspeople until he came across someone weird, he decided to investigate them and found out that they were in fact a Satyr, and the daughter of Zeus as well! The Satyrʻs name was Carina and she apparently was doing a favor for Dionysus, which made Pesménos interested. He ended up having many adventures with Carina and became really close to her until he eventually declared his love for her (304 BC), the couple had a couple more adventures together before eventually getting married and retiring (300 BC). Not much has been heard from them since then but rumors were spread back in 349 AD that Carina had died during a voyage across the sea, rumors of sightings of Pesménos have also been spreading recently… (1754 AD)
