I also dumped some lore below but first here’s the characters: - Sabre (she/her) (she’s also my sona/mascot :) //Main Protagonist// Role: resident of District North Personality: shy, lonely, closed off //DESIGN NOTES// She has two antlers but her hair covers a baby antler that never grew - Nitelite (she/her) //Protagonist// Role: Night Runner of District South Personality: crazy, very social, sometimes uses others to her advantage //DESIGN NOTES// She has one demon horn thing and her star patterns are only visible at night. She also his a wing tail which allows her to glide in the air - Erin (he/him) //Antagonist// (but he’s not trying to be the bad guy) Role: Bounty Hunter of District North Personality: serious, focused, not afraid to be mean (although he does actually care about others) //DESIGN NOTES// none atm ✨✨✨LORE✨✨✨ It’s been years ever since the incident. The incident had wiped out all life on Earth. Or so they thought :vine boom: Before the incident, an illegal science lab tried to create the “perfect species” by doing tests on animals. They knew about the meteor that was approaching and didn’t want all their knowledge to be gone forever so that’s why they aimed to make the most intelligent and adapted species ever. They used a new chemical called Animoxide to change the species of an animal and combine it with different ones. But then the Meteor started approaching faster than normal. All the scientists hurried but didn’t succeed. In 3030, the meteor hit. The giant meteor hit District North (this is the future so the people panicked and hid in one of two giant shelters) The science lab just so happened to be between both of the district borders and got hit by debris. The giant tank of Animoxide was hit. Luckily, no one in the districts got hurt but the intensity of the hit caused everyone to black out for years. In 3040, everyone started waking up. Their memories were lost forever. They didn’t even notice that they had changed from the Animoxide burst. Everyone was some kind of feral animal but still was intelligent like *most* humans. After all those years, the Animoxide became part of the air. It was the new Oxygen The scientists plans had worked. They made a sacrifice to save the human race. Not from the meteor, but from the hellish new monsters that arrived while everyone was asleep Fun fact: I legit just made all of that up and I’m keeping it canon. Fear me and my random lore skills /j Oh and some other random facts: - District North and District South are protected by a futuristic barrier but South was more open to nature and less worried about the meteor. They basically became enemies - The North feared the outside world so they kept everything futuristic - The South had bright, natural colors that would emit from the plants and the water became bioluminescent. Which caused the Night Runners: the animals of the South that glow at night. They’re called runners because they like to create havoc among the North by invading (totally what I’d do lmaoo) - The new hellish monster I mentioned earlier are called Zekomorphs.
