Prologue: Eight ponies and a small dragon gathered around the map of friendship. "Okay,so you know how the map always sends us far away?Well...Happy birthday Starlight! I've been working on a new spell to teleport any of us anywhere in equestria!Since the map has called you and Sunset to canterlot ,and since it's your birthday Starlight,I thought you could be the first to test it!Hold hooves and I'll send you there!"Twilight said. "Thanks Twilight!"Starlight said.This would be her first ever friendship quest with Sunset,and she couldn't be more excited.Twilight's horn glowed,and as Starlight and Sunset were levitated off the ground, vortexes to other diemensions appeared around them. "What?!This isn't supposed to happen!"Twilight screamed,trying to shut down the spell,but her horn wouldn't obey her.The last thing Starlight saw was her friends; Fluttershy was pale as a ghost,Rarity lit her horn to try to help stop the spell,Applejack tried to lasso Starlight and Sunset but the lasso just flew straight into one of the vortexes.Rainbow Dash was trying to fly up to pull Starlight and Sunset out from the middle of the rips in the universe,but a harsh wind seemed to be blocking her from reaching them,Pinkie was trying to give advice,like 'try doggy paddling!' but her suggestions didn't help.And what broke Starlight's heart the most was Twilight.The alicorn was struggling to stop the spell,even with Rarity's help,and her wings were flapping,as if trying to force herself through the strong breeze,but it was her face that hurt Starlight more than anything.The alicorn's expression was one of fear and pain,her eyes it seemed could not produce enough tears to match the pain Starlight saw on her face. A vortex widened behind Sunset and Starlight and as they were sucked in,Twilight's pained cry rang out,"No!" and that was the last thing Starlight heard. __________________________________ Part one, Universe one Starlight hit something hard and wooden,and as she did she was rained on by apples.Apples?Oh thank Celestia,she and Sunset must have only been teleported to Sweet Apple Acres.Starlight opened her eyes to see Sunset beside her on the branch,and below them,a familiar yellow filly with rose colored hair and a pink bow looking straight at Starlight and Sunset as if they had appeared out of thin air----which,technically,they had. "Apple bloom!"Starlight called down to the filly."Do you mind helping me and my friend down?" "Sure...my brother taught me how ta' kick apples down."Apple bloom said,looking a tad uneasy. "Brother?Didn't Applejac---"Starlight didn't finish because she and Sunset were shook from the branch at a sudden force.Sunset landed perfectly on four hooves,and a moment later,Starlight faceplanted beside her. "Starlight!"Sunset yelped,helping her up."Are you okay?!" "Thanks Sunset,I'm fine." "Ya mind tellin' me what in Equestria y'all was doin in mah apple tree?Or how ya know mah name when I ain't never seen neither of ya?"Apple bloom interrupted. "Never seen-----me and Starlight literally bought apples from you and your older sister yesterday!"Sunset replied,only to receive a chuckle from Apple bloom. "Now ah know yer lyin,ah haven't even seen mah sister since ah was real little,mah brother remembers 'er alright,talks about 'er nonstop in his sleep,but whenever ah ask about 'er or even bring 'er up he goes dead silent.Not like that's unusual for him,but still."Apple bloom said."Speakin' of which,how'd ya know I even had a sister?Nopony knew 'cept the apple family an' that one unicorn."She added,staring down the two friends. "Okay,I know this might sound crazy but.....I think me and my friend came from another dimension."Sunset explained. "Usually,I wouldn't believe ya but seein as ya jus' magically appeared into mah tree with no other explanation,ah will."Apple bloom replied. "Your sister,what happened to her?"Starlight asked. "Big Mac don't talk 'bout it with me while he's awake,but he don't know he's a sleep talker, an' from what ah've learned from his reaccuring nightmares,I got lost when ah was real little,an' somehow ah wandered into the everfree forest.Followin' mah hoofprints they came after me,and they managed to find me,but not before a timber wolf did.The wolf was wounded an' bleedin',so he wasn't in a good mood,and when mah sis jumped in front o' me an' got scratched 'cross the muzzle,some of the wolf's blood got on 'er scratch.Everypony knows that if timber wolf's blood gets into a pony's bloodstream,that pony will become one of 'em.Mah brother watched as she transformed into one.Barely managed to escape from 'er with me."Apple bloom explained.She sighed,then said,"Sometimes,I'll wake up in the middle of the night to a howl that sounds kinda like mah name bein' called,but that seems just as crazy as Rarity."She finished. "What's crazy about Rarity?"Sunset asked. "She leaves mah sister comforts at the edge of the Everfree forest sometimes,like warm sheets or baked apple goods." *vortex*
