Knowing that the YNAM could intercept the purveyance to Bucketeen, Fazastan wishes to supply the Bucketeen Isles as preparation for YNAM involvement in the imminent conflict between them and Aerach. With this aid, Bucketeen would be able to hold out longer even if the Mox Gem should be disabled by anything. However, this decision may also raise tensions as the trading routes are still in close proximity of Aerach and its colonies and the Clown Shore. In other words, with the decision Fazastan has made, they have basically crossed the Rubicon of conflict.
