(cont) F: She blinked. That was.... admittedly unexpected. Such a sudden mood change was definitely a signal that he was /not/ at all a normal person. She'd already figured that out, obviously, but this was confirmation. Perfect. "Uhh... I'm pretty sure it's the seventeenth. Of december. Why?" She asked, her tone-- to her dismay-- growing curious. He was starting to catch her attention. For more reasons than just one. Although... the rest of those reasons were... not something she would admit. So she ignored those reasons and focused on the logical ones instead. B- He cursed under his breath, his eyes now back on her. “Look. I don’t know you, you don’t know me~ but could you give this,” He dug through his jean pocket, removing a small white piece of paper, a few words neatly written along the edge, and handing it to her. “…To the principal? Thanks. Bye.” He started down the hall- immediately. F: Well... Theoretically, she could always just leave the note unread and bring it back to the principal. She could respect his privacy, and not have to worry about it anymore, but... The paper wasn't folded up or anything. He was almost /asking/ for her to read it. She started the opposite way, towards the principal's office, zipping up her hoodie. She could always get out of being dress coded, but better safe than sorry. And as she was walking down the hallway, she glanced down at the note, reading it. B- The letter read: (( In the project, because I wanted to use a fancy font. B) )) F: A slight grin came to her face. "Well, Sait Skullhollow, you've piqued my interest." She murmured under her breath. She walked into the principal's office, dropping the letter on his desk wordlessly. That is, until she spoke. "From the new kid. He just ran out of the school, by the way. I don't think he'll be back for the rest of the day." She added. The principal seemed momentarily appalled, but he nodded and picked up the note. Rei didn't stick around, of course- she headed back to her locker, taking out a notebook and a textbook. A strange start to the morning, to be sure. B (Timeskip)- The next morning, Sait had gotten to class before anyone else. He, in all honesty, looked /exhausted/~ his eyes (even if they were fake) were sunken and darker in shade, due to the tired ones behind the contacts. Dark bags resided under them, and his black hair was wild atop his head. Despite all of this, his posture was straight. His seat was /much/ too small for him- but he managed to stay on /somehow/. Two gloves covered his hands- each were oddly elegant looking, against his plain clothes. He winced, adjusting his position after a moment. The tail he kept hidden under his clothes was /very/ uncomfortable right now. Dark brown eyes raising from his desk as Rei entered, his brows raised. That girl. The one he'd spoken to. Why did he even remember her? Surely, she was quite insignificant to a "Demonic Prince" such as himself? He didn't know. But she smelled... /very/ appetizing. Scooting as far as he could in his seat away from her current position, he stared out the window, fighting the hunger rising in his stomach. R: She had only been lingering at the doorway when he'd made that movement. And it intrigued her even more. As more people began to enter the classroom, she moved over to the seat next to him, setting a notebook and pencil on the desk as she sat down. "I thought I should give myself a better introduction than yesterday. I'd rather not be 'weird locker girl' to you for the rest of my life." It was... hard to tell if she was joking. "Rei. Rei Marek, if you want to be formal." She didn't bother holding out a hand- it wasn't necessary in the slightest. Her dark hair was let loose today, a rare occurrence. In fact, it seemed Sait wasn't the only one with a disheveled appearance-- Rei's pale eyes were only half-open, and the space under her eyes was definitely dark. She hadn't slept. But did anyone need to know that? Absolutely not. B- Sait's form tensed, and his nose wrinkled- almost as if he'd smelled something rotten. Really, it was the opposite. The entire time she'd spoken, he kept his mouth tightly shut. After a moment of resistance, he scooted his chair further away. Once far enough, he looked over his shoulder slightly towards her. "A pleasure to meet, Rei." Was all he said, before returning to the tense, /seemingly/ repulsed position. R: She raised her eyebrows at his strange behavior. "Okay, slightly rude, but that's fine." She muttered under her breath. Why was he acting so strangely? The way he was tensing, his obvious want to not talk to her... why was he acting like this? The interest she'd had in him was quickly fading. ...well, at least she had one trick up her sleeve. "The pleasure is mine, Sait." He hadn't told her his name. And yet, she knew. That was a small victory, to her.
