smol project thing for me n brainy! :D my wiriting is labeled with an F, brainy's is labeled with whatever they choose xD okokok here we go-- ----------------------- F: This high school was a hive of gossip, rumours, and unfathomable idiocy. Rei hated it. And loved it. She technically broke the dress code every day-- she wore tanktops most of the time-- but she'd successfully scared away everybody who had tried to yell at her about it. There were a lot of rumours surrounding her, and she was just fine with that. It kept people out of her face, you know? But where had the rumours stemmed from? Well... Maybe it was the fact that she never talked to anyone unless she had to. Or the fact that she'd once gotten called to the office for starting a fight. Perhaps it was the fact that she was a shapeshifter. However, there was nobody in that school who knew that she was one, of course. She just stayed in her true form all the time-- dark red hair, tan skin, a short and strong build, and that pesky birthmark at the nape of her neck. That birthmark was the only thing that differentiated her as a shapeshifter. However, since there were no other shapeshifters at the school, everyone just wrote it off as a birthmark. Which she was grateful for. Some of the rumours, though... there was one that she was a witch, another that she killed a kid, another that she threatened the school to not expell her. The list goes on. She loved it. She loved the fact that she just had to glare at someone, and they'd leave her alone. As she walked into the school that morning, her hair tied in a messy bun, her large round glasses just barely staying on her nose, she overheard more discussion. This time, about a new kid. Apparently, he was freakishly tall, intimidating, dark, and just generally scary. Sounded like another weirdo. Can't wait to meet him, she thought as she walked down the hall to her locker. The crowd in the hall parted for her, giving expressions from glares to terrified grimaces. It really was her favorite thing. Maybe she'd meet that new kid quickly-- who knows?
