[WARNING CRINGE] I thought it’d be a great fun idea to sing that one long note in Last Christmas bc I thought I was good at it but I guess not L (and also I’m 11 gimme a break lol) I actually sing like this at school when this song came on in last period bc my teacher was letting us have free period with the lights off and we were drawing on the board and having some chill time, basically a free period but with music, lights off, and just a mood. So this song came on during a playlist, and me, having heard this song and singing along to it since I was like 3 years old- so when I came on I couldn’t help myself. At the beginning everyone started singing the first part bc everyone knows that part. They kept repeating it even though it wasn’t that part yet so-. Eventually people stopped singing, but I kept on bc I was IN THE ZONE- people started looking at me when the long notes, harder parts to hold came along and I sang them. And then this part came on (the part I sang in the project) and singing an 8 SECOND LONG NOTE is MUCH harder than you think it is. So once I finished and the song was over, people started CHEERING AROUND ME LIKE I WAS IN A MOVIE OR SOMETHING. and how satisfying that was to me was beyond words. Being relatively shy, unpopular and quiet, to people cheering around me felt so amazing to me. One kid even said I belonged on American idol (which I don’t I’m very bad what) felt kinda like when the nerdy girl takes off her glasses in a movie or something- lol. So anyways I decided to share me singing on scratch since I feel a little bit more confident this time! TRUE STORY I SWEAR it took like 3 tries to get the audio to actually recorded correctly what-
