“Nobody ever said it would be easy.” “Judas Iscariot- his burden is mine. The burden of a million sins.” “…Life was a beautiful thing, wasn’t it? Before it died?” “I look out of place here… don’t I?” “Yes, I believe that’s the word.” “I used to be something… Before I was nothing, of course.” “‘Tis what I am, a follower.” “I… could never be anything more than I am. The boy who killed a king.” “Murderer, murderer”, that’s what they screamed in unison… like a chorus. A horribly truthful chorus.” “Name one sinner… /one/ who had ever been happy.” “Your blood… it is my only salvation. Your bones… they are my only comfort. Your eyes… they are my only weakness.” “Monster. I seem to hear that term more and more, nowadays.”
+ Background Info on Judas Iscariot + (A.K.A. That one REALLY important biblical dude nobody ever bothers to look into, even though he technically was a massive part of human freedom from sin~) Jacob is a reincarnation of Judas (the biblical one, not my other oc)- the betraying disciple of Jesus. Judas planted a k!zz on Jesus’ cheek, and announced him as “master” before the crowd who’d come to arrest him. He’d been paid thirty pieces of silver to bring Jesus in to these people~ and has been cursed to eternal d@mn@tion for his unforgivable actions. Judas had been possessed by the Devil in the actions, and begged the group to take the money back. These people refused, proceeding with Jesus’ crucification. So, Judas committed the first s^!c!d3, hanging h!ms3/f due to his guilt. In some more disturbing variations, Judas, after his sin, begins to rot from the inside out. After suffering this living-death, Judas finally k!//3d h!ms3/f on his own land by pouring out his innards onto the ground. Jacob, honestly, hopes that neither versions are true~ Some say Judas betrayed Jesus at his own orders, as of the fact that this was the thing that led to all people being saved from sin. This is narrowly accepted, but, for Jacob’s sake, I shall let it be known. And, he was technically a Vampire, too! :D
