(The following text contains integral information involving the game so I suggest you read most of it so as not to miss any details) Click the button at the top right to switch between Mining mode and Surface mode. This is how you begin the game. While Mining, you'll traverse down the mine one block at a time, finding all sorts of valuable ores on the way. You will most likely begin with mostly coal and copper, but the rarity of ores increases as you go further down. You also have the choice to mine sideways, in case you want to remain at a certain depth, and you can teleport to a depth you've previously been at if you think you missed an ore that you needed. On the Surface, you can craft new pickaxes with ores in your inventory, which increase your mining speed and the price of ores. Alternatively, you can sell your ores for money, which you can use to buy various boosts such as mining speed and luck. This game features fifty ores in total, with the rarest being Infinitite, at a rarity of 1 in 10 million without boosts. Your ultimate goal in this game is to obtain it. I assure you it will take a long time, but luckily you can save your progress with a code and come back later. Once you reach the final pickaxe upgrade, you unlock Auto Mining. Press A to toggle it, or press the switch in Mining mode. You can also mute the music and sound effects by pressing M. Pressing once mutes the sound effects, twice mutes the music, and three times unmutes everything. Music: Mining Game Theme by DatCat Heavy inspiration from Malachite Miners on Roblox, which itself was derived from Azure Mines. Block mining sound remorselessly ripped from Minecraft. Big thanks to @AonymousGuy on the forums for posting a subscript function workaround. Without it, this game's saving mechanic would have been doomed. Changelog: v1.0 (24 Dec 2022): - Initial release. v1.1 (2 Nov 2023): - Added a "Sell All Ores" button that allows you to sell your entire inventory. v1.11 (27 Oct 2024): - [BUGFIX] Auto Mining now automatically turns off when you return to the surface. Planned future updates: - Allow the player to craft any available pickaxe instead of just the one in succession, in case the ores required for crafting a particular pickaxe become unobtainable. - Include an encyclopedia of ores and their most common depths (based on current luck upgrades).
