Sooo I've got a few things to clear up about Anchor and STR and stuff lol Mainly with Anchor though. So yes, Anchor was supposed to be in STR. The reason I put him in was because at the time I created this, I was still obsessed with Anchor. And I kept that plan for a long time but now… I'm not sure lol I mean, it's an animals comic. It would be cool if I included a few humans, but then again, most of the characters are animals such as cats and wolves. Those are the main animals. (And a few doggos as well-) but like- Anchor would be like the outcast pfft. And I had a few other humans in mind, but onLY TWO MORE. T W O. OUT OF THE PROBABLY 15 MORE CATS AND DOGS AND WOVLES AND STUFF- So like. Do you see now. Yeah I'm thinking of taking Anchor out and replacing him with another character. But when I think about doing that, it just feels…w r o n g. I dunno, I mean, Anchor's cool, I should probably draw him more even though I'm finally growing out of my obsession with him, but he would be an outcast. A loner. But what's funner than being a loner? :'))) Alright now about Anchor himself. Now, he was supposed to be like some sort of trickster and kinda sly and calm and likes the dark kind of person, and he kinda maybe sorta turned out to be the opposite? I mean, it's sorta realistic, by like he's kinda mistrusting at first I think, and he's annoying and tries to be funny and cunning(?) and all that, and then there's another side to him that's more emotional and sad and stuff. So then here's when it comes in: I either want to emphasize the slyness and jokester like part of him, or I want to take it out completely and rewrite his personality a bit. I wouldn't like completely change it, but just switch some things up a bit, because at this rate, he's kinda confusing X'D those thoughts have just been on my mind a bit with Anchor. And yes, I think I'm finally stepping away from him. I'm not nearly as obsessed with him as I was at the beginning of the year and last year :')) I mean, I think it's also his backstory- I'm starting to recognize a lot of similar elements in a lot of my characters backstories. Okay I get it would be a lot of work to make each and every one of them unique, and I don't think I'll achieve that quite yet, but his backstory has some repeated elements in it. Only a few people know it and I think it's about time I told everybody because I kept it away for so long- but to me it's gotten repetitive and a little cliche and generic, honestly XD like I've always said that I usually like to include at least a little bit of loss in a character's backstory, unless I decide that this character won't have any loss in his/her backstory. But the kind of loss I always thought of was losing a loved one or something. Now I'm starting to open up to other possibilities, like losing a home, or not even having someone dying, but being taken away from loved ones, or maybe just simply losing a pet. Physically losing something is not what I'm really doing here haha n o No losing hands here That's what I mean when I say "losing something physically" So yeah Always scar your characters (and readers ;D) emotionally, kids :") But yeah, whoo that did not mean to turn into a rant- anyways yeah you get the message :"D Credits: Art: me Coding: n o b o d y OC: Anchor
