okay so what if instead of doing that same storyboard-like thing that was done for ut's intro cutscene and a certain flashback segment we had partially animated, in-color sprites moving around and doing cool stuff like secret handshakes basically, you get to view the characters and the environment they're in from a different angle while they move in cool ways it would usually happen during dialogue, except for whenever there's a dramatic character introduction that needs to be more dramatic that's it that's the entire concept may visually elaborate on it at some point in the future, specifically when i manage to get something playable out
