Instructions

yeah it's not really all that different from the original undertale soul mechanics but i have decided to change a few things first: cyan, orange, and pink soul colors finally, you can wield the powerful prowess of all seven human souls... one at a time. anyways when your soul turns cyan, you gain the ability to dash through otherwise unavoidable bullets, like in just shapes and beats (it's just like just shapes and beats) which is a totally original mechanic and when your soul turns orange, you gain the ability to punch the bullets and deflect them, essentially so i'd say that's p cool when your soul turns pink (as suggested by the frisker himself, @mr_dude_coder100) you can have a vision of the enemy's next attack, as shown via pink bullets but. it may have a 50% of being wrong, thus leaving an opportunity for you to get different attack jumpscared second: tweaking the original souls i'm thinking the blue soul could be held down or in midair at some points, restricting the player to only be able to move two directions, which could be pretty interesting during the cimber or rube fights the green soul could also be permitted to move two directions, potentially to avoid extra powerful spe-i mean knifes that could break through the shield the yellow soul could be given the option to change its direction via pressing [X] or something and the purple soul's lines could be switched from horizontal to vertical whenever la araña or somebody else says so third: color changes happen more frequently you know what would be be cool if other soul colors were used outside of boss fights like, almost any normal enemy could turn you blue (but cimber would do it a lot better) and it would lead to some unique attacks that would be be cool so i think i'm gonna do it 'nuff said. that's all i really have to say about soul mechanics so far if you want to see stuff relating to movement speed and other stuff, that's partially covered in iait plans #1, where i talk about buffs and debuffs
