I swear, I’ll make a decent species soon~)) |< Basics >| Zombies are humans who tried to cheat death, in the process being hunted down by Archangels- considered to be some of the most important of Angels, tasked to curse these beings for their unexplainable sins. Death isn’t supposed to be avoided. The first creature to escape death in such way had been Lucifer himself- evil in embodiment. Nobody wanted another Lucifer around. Hence the curse. These cursed humans, due to the fact that they tried to cheat death, die daily. And these Zombies are often found ghosting their previous families, friends, or even descendants of either, too ashamed to reveal themselves again. Not to be confused with a vampire, however, that’s always “dead”. Zombies start out every morning again as "human", slowly climbing towards their death at midnight. They do not age at all in this odd process of eternal death- but they do start to rot. Zombies eat meat excessively, but they /don't/ eat flesh. |< Looks >| Zombies stay whatever age they were hunted down at and transformed in, never aging a day more or less in appearance. Every day, they go through an entire cycle of life. After the hour of midnight, Zombies rise from the dead and the rot or scars they’d grown or gotten that day disappear like they’d never existed, causing them to go through the entire process again. Zombie’s are instinctively inclined to hurt themselves- hence the nightly scars. They usually have darker skin tones~ shimmering and splendid coppers or bronzes on the day, dark browns that conceal their nightly rot at sunset. Their eyes are normal- though, some Zombie’s sclera can blacken towards nightfall, along with their skin and features. Their hair is often a color associated with death- ex: Red, Gray, White. |< Abilities List >| (Choose 1) - Brief future predictions- very vague, and often leads to loss of sanity - Horns. Yes, some Zombie's have horns. They don't really do anything unless you want to headbutt somebody- but they're pretty cool. - A select few are made with the ability to rot living things in their midnight hour by simply touching them. -NoThInG.
