While I was on vacation in Oregon (not irl) I was able to get a test of Feldspar's tsunami sirens. In my opinion they sound a lot like ones across the ocean in Japan. You can just barely hear two of the other sirens in the area, although they each are less than a mile away. The sirens amount to a system of nine, and each does ten cycles of this weird wail signal. This thing was a lot quieter than I expected, though. My decibel reader only clocked 104 decibels at 100 feet, making this one of the quietest sirens I've ever heard. It didn't help that I mistook it for an emergency vehicle siren and couldn't hear the other sirens in the distance winding down quickly, so it gave me a spook for a moment.
