Uses @gtoal's edge tangent field. Each brush stroke is made up of 30 short pen strokes. Each pen stroke is semi-transparent, variably shaded, and follows the edge tangent field. You need to let this run pretty long, but after a while it should look like a heavy textured oil painting.
