read below for my story. I looked up at the setting sun, watching as it disappeared below the mountain range, as its dying light faded below the hills. I watched as the clouds, white as snow, faded to pink and soon would disappear into the star-speckled sky. But even after the sun had fallen, even after the clouds had faded into the dark, white-freckled sky, there was a light shining from behind. It was brighter than any star, hotter than any sun, and more dangerous than any creature imaginable. Watching the sky, still fading into the black of the night, I couldn't help knowing it would be the last sunset I ever saw. The bright, hot, dangerous light behind me was an explosion, a bright, yet not-so-bright end to this ball of land, this globe of water and dirt, this world of life and death, this place where the reaper itself can drag you with it any second of any day, any hour of any night, this home of green, of blue, of black, of white, this home now a place of endings and graves. All this death, all these burials, all of it because of a blazing fire.
sorry its short! i most likely wont win, and the twist wasnt much.
