(RESHARE! ORIGINAL DATE IS DECEMBER 9TH!) Hey guys. So you’ve read by the title that I am taking a very big break. Yes, it’s true. I’m planning on leaving until maybe next Spring or Summer. Let me explain: Scratch lately has really eaten up my life. I’ve been trying to draw with the Scratch editor, trying to design characters and pretty much just trying to discover my art style, and in doing so I have wasted lots of time, time I could have spent with my family, time I could have spent doing activities, time I could have spent living life. And Scratch has pretty much taken that away from me, it’s made my life worse and harder because my only meaning everyday is to wake up, try to convince my mom to give me the computer and then spend 10 - 12 hours on it doing nothing productive or meaningful. However, with that being said, I am not leaving Scratch. Don’t cry about it in the comments because I’m not. I will eventually return to make animations once my head is cleared up and I’m motivated and hopefully have discovered my style and designed characters? Speaking of character designs, I’m closing the OC contest. I don’t really have time to show the results because no one really won because I didn’t choose any OC’s you made (no offense) but I’ll just say @Oi_Jojo did a really good job on their entry. Everyone else I can’t name right now, yours was good too, I guess. No hard feelings, but no one won. Ever since I made this account I’ve had trouble with designing characters and other things like that, and I think the reason is that I’ve just been squeezing myself into churning out something I’d like, unwillingly not knowing that I won’t get better at drawing by forcing myself into. Tomorrow I also have a sleepover, so I don’t really want to be occupied by Scratch, and I wanted to let you all know that so if you happen to maybe miss me, you know I’m having a good time. I’m planning to leave for six months or more, so if you’re confused on why I’m not posting anything or responding to any comments, now you know why. I’ll see you all hopefully soon.
