Nova's friends are the next bearers of the Elements of Harmony: Laughter,kindness,honesty,generosity,and loyalty. The thing is,the Element of magic refused Nova (kinda like how a body can refuse a donated organ[I know my explanation is weird but it's the best I could think of]) So the question is,what is Nova's element? And the ever more pressing question; Who is the next bearer of the element of magic? Anyways if you've been scrolling down trying to find the excerpt of the storyline here you go: _____________________________________________ Nova was NOT good at magic, even with being an alicorn and all.Sure her friends were destined to be the future bearers of the elements of generosity,honesty,laughter,kindness,and loyalty,and sure all those elements were at loss of power without the element of magic,and yes,it had rejected her,and yes it was probably because she is 'impure' as Daybreaker's alicorn-ified servants had called her,yet princess Twilight seemed ABSOLUTELY DETERMINED to get the element of magic to except Nova as the future guardian of the element of magic.Which of course meant Twilight giving her magic lectures that Nova could never stay awake through every other day and thrice daily hour-long magic lessons with Starlight Glimmer and Sunset Shimmer,two very powerful unicorns.Nova was currently in the third of said lessons of the day. "Alright Nova,are you ready to learn the transformation spell?"Sunset said. "No.What if I mess up?"Nova replied. "Oh pfft,it's easy!Just imagine this apple as a teacup!"Starlight retorted optimistically. "Okay..."Nova said,letting out a sigh.She directed her vision to the apple,closed her eyes and her horn went alight with magic.There was a flash of light,and Nova opened her eyes to see...an apple.Not a teacup.Just an apple.Nova sighed,noticing Starlight hadn't commented on the spell not working,which was odd,since Starlight usually gave instant feedback.Nova looked up from the apple to ask why Starlight was so quiet and suddenly Nova herself was also at a loss for words.Not only had Nova not been able to turn the apple into a teacup,but on top of that,she'd transformed Sunset into a...well actually,Nova didn't even know WHAT Sunset was. "You know,"Sunset said,looking herself over."I don't hate it,it's actually kinda cool!" Starlight smacked a hoof to her own face and sighed,half laughing and half annoyed at the statement it seemed.
