this was just for fun, and to practice shading. I did Acornpaw 2, so I figured I'd do her sister, Cricketclaw, who ended up on the oppposite side of the spectrum to her sister. after her sisters death, she searched for revenge, killing Sharptounge in life and, later, in the afterlife when they cross paths in the dark forest. she also makes plans kill the leader of bayclan at the time, Crainstar, who she also felt resonsible for her sisters death, but dies from a fox before she could carry them out. after a while, she starts to forget that all of her work before and in the dark forest had been for her sister. next time she sees her sister, she is too overcome by hate to still feel much love for her, and allows her fellow dark forest cats to try to capture her to use agenst starclan. after Acornpaw nearly kills her and runs away, tears of anger-shock- and desperation running dow her face, Cricketclaw remembers that everything she had ever done was to avenge her sister and how much she had never wanted Acornpaw to experience this much pain. she begins to harbor hate for the dark forest, and eventually escapes through the moonpool into the living world and lives on as a wandering spirit until she fades away. with her hast bit of existence, she hoped for Acornpaw to live happily with however much time she had left, wishing she had been a better sister, and faded away, earning her peace. this was sad I AM TRYING NOT TO CRY RIGHT NOW.
