Happy 5-Year Scratchiversary to me! This is also celebrating my 130th project! Also celebrating... 77 followers I guess? It's weird to think I've had this account for 5 years... that feels short and also long at the same time. Scratch has taught me so much... I've learned about fandomy things like MAPs and RPs and I've improved my art SO MUCH. I've actually learned more about the LGBTQ+ and Furry communities from Scratch, and I've also learned of the existence of clawed gardening gloves. :0 (Oh also I learned about emoticons from Scratch) I've met some pretty awesome people, and made some good friends. I'm sure my life would be very different if I had never joined Scratch! I want to talk about all of my years on Scratch, so I've numbered them 1-5, and I'm going to talk about what my Scratch life was like in each year. Year 1: This was the year that I met @Goldencllaw IRL, started the game that would create Trail of Stars, and got into Warriors! Since I was into warriors, I wanted to make a Warriors Clan Quiz, and a Warriors Game. My dad helped me code my Warriors Quiz, (because I had no idea how to code then-) and I shared it as my very first project! Year 2: Warriors Game! I also worked on this in Year 1, but I worked on it more the second year. I was not at all confident in my cat-drawing ability, so I just got cats off of Google. Year 3: My Scratch account kind of died. I mean, more than it already had. I worked on the game a bit, but not as much. I wasn't really following anyone, or into any comics or anything. Year 4: Then, at the end of Year 3... COVID hit. School was completely virtual. I was literally on my computer all day. And so, I turned to Scratch. This was the year I really became a true Scratcher. I learned of comics like ToPH and Crystals, I joined the Everlasting Prophecy Roleplay, and I even started a comic series, Trail of Stars. My art had already improved since Year 1, but I drew a lot more, and I improved a lot too. I learned about MAPs, and joined my first one. I joined more MAPs, I joined the War of Independence Roleplay, I met @NightLight02 and became a huge fan of LotBD. But also, I was stressed out by trying to keep up Trail of Stars and eventually.. it just died. That was probably for the best though, since it was really stressing me out, and it honestly wasn't the best story we could be telling. Year 5: This year, school was normal once more. I kept up Scratch, and kept roleplaying. I followed ToPH, LBR, Crystals, LotBD, Equinox, and some other comics. I became deputy of HeatherClan in ELP. This was also the same year I quit ELP. Again, I'd felt stressed out because I felt like I was obligated to do things that should be fun. I felt like I HAD to roleplay, instead of WANTING to roleplay. Also, the rp had gotten kind of boring, and all I was doing was patrols. And at the same time, I had begun working on a new, big project. A project I had been wanting to do since Year 3... a Wings of Fire game! This year: Right now, I'm not really a part of any rps or comics. Which actually feels good. At the moment, I'm just doing what I feel like, reading and theorizing on comics, and working on my Wings of Fire game. I just hosted my first DTA, which was pretty fun! I'm doing a lot of comic theorizing for LotBD too! I think I'm going to be less involved then I was on Scratch during COVID, but I'll still be around for sure. Things to come for this year: So, the main project I'm working on is my Wings of Fire game. It is called Secrets of Sky. At the moment, I'm working on a lot of art for the cutscenes. But soon, I'll be opening it for testing and feedback... so stay tuned. It's still far from done, but I hope to finish it this year! Thanks to every one of my 77 followers. I might have liked to have more followers by now, but actually, I don't really care about having a huge number of followers. I'm just happy that there are people out there who like what I'm doing, and I'll keep doing it! Also, thank you so much to everyone who's been friendly, fun, and supportive on my Scratch journey! May StarClan light your path, - Silvertaill
