The main thing about this project is the code in it! You can watch it for a while, if you watch long enough the inaccuracy in the required 'orbital speed' make the moon crash into the earth and it all glitches out, which shows how a perfect circular orbit is hard to sustain. I implemented the equation of newton's law of gravitation which, with newton's third law of motion, means the earth is pulled towards the moon also. The mass of the earth relative to the moon's in this project is roughly the same as it is in real life (100:1). Newtons cannon is a thought experiment about if a really powerful cannon was fired from a really high up mountain, how the cannon ball would orbit around the earth. If you set the starting position of the moon closer to the earth in this project, you can more easily see this.
Using real values with a scale factor at the end to make the distances presentable in scratch coordinates did not work, so this isnt really the relationship shown by the earth and moon.
