yea lore: sonic raids Eggman's laboratory where he defeats Eggman. after he defeats Eggman, metal sonic appears behind him, knocking him out cold, later on, sonic wake up outside the laboratory. his body was aching for a while until he leaves to go back to the green hills, but the green hills were deserted, with no animal life at all. sonic roamed through the green hills until he sees the remains of a robot, overgrown by nature itself. sonic decided to search for tails and the others, when he arrived at angel island, the island was nothing. no trees, no land, or any animals at all. when he arrived at the master emerald altar, the emeralds were on the ground, shattered while the master emerald was dull but was still active. as the emerald glowed, and showed him what happened. it appears as Eggman injected sonic with a prototype fluid that gave sonic immortality, and years have passed through to the present day, as sonic watches, his friends fall from aging and his enemy. sonic is back at the altar but the master emerald was now shattered as well. sonic was the last being in the world while nature was moving on. sonic became depressed and roamed around the world for years and years until his day would come to join his friends. (note that this isn't a sonic.exe, it's just a sonic who is immortal, oh yeah he gain a lot of talent through his years)
