Hey Guys!! Today I'm going to be doing a Warrior cat RP tips project! This is just supposed to help you figure things out - please don't take it word for word, and these are also what I just like to use... Hope you find this useful! PART ONE; Bio Okay guys, so one of the most important parts of a warrior cat RP is our characters! A character’s come to life right at the start - when we make our bios. Today we will go through all the steps in making a successful bio ((following the most frequently asked-for subjects)) and complete a specific, detailed, and felt character! Prefix - Now your cat’s prefix will stay with them for their whole life, so it's important to choose wisely. There are a few ways to go with this... Way one) You can name your character after someone you are inspired by! Using prefixes that generate an image of someone will help your character come to life. For example; let's say I loved Sandstorm from the first series of warrior cats. I could name my cat Sandy___ or tempest___ see! Try not to use Sand___ or Storm___ use different forms of them or synonyms! Way Two) Of course, we all know some basic names… Ash, Sand, Fire, Snow, White, Black, and Berry are a few, but to make your character unique and special- the first part is the name! Let's take Snow for example… I would try to find synonyms for snow! I could say Sleet, Hail, Blizzard, Drift, Flake, or even Fall! There are many synonyms for words, and using more unique ones could make an impression. Way three) Okay, if you're completely out of ideas, I have a list of unique names for you! Acorn, Adder, Astro, Amber, Ant, Apple, Arch, Aspen, Apricot, Beech, Beetle, Bounce, Brindle, Cricket, Cosmo, Cold, Crevice, Duck, Dewy, Egg, Fallow, Fennel, Fleet, Goose, Grass, Hollow, Heavy, Jump, Kink, Lynx, Lizard, Mink, Morning, Mallow, Newt, Odd, Olive, Perch, Pike, Puddle, Prickle, Rapid, Rye, Sedge, Spade, Sneeze, Toad, Timber, Weasel, and Wild. Of course, these are just the last resort! It's best to try and find one that uniquely fits our character. Suffix! Description. Of course, we want to show some things off! If our character is great at jumping, ‘pounce’ might be a good suffix! If our fur is fluffy, ‘wooly’ might work too! Of course, using synonyms really helps for this too. Get straight to the point of what you want to highlight in our cat. Then search up synonyms for that! If we wanted to show a trait ((like bravery )) we would do the same thing! Sometimes attaching the trait to a body-part could also work. Vicious? Then perhaps ‘teeth’ is a good suffix. Want to show off your clan!? Sometimes we can find suffixes that connect to the clans. Ex - riverclan - ___Lake - thunderclan - ____strike - shadowclan -____pine - skyclan - _____leap - windclan - ____run- We could also use sound words! ___wisper, ___echo, ___song are a few examples, sometimes using onomatopoeia is a good way to find a suffix ___sizzle, ____splash. MORE IN THE NOTES & CREDITSSSSS

Description

Now, for our cat’s look… When creating a character’s visual image, it's important to think about three different aspects. Disabilities, Abilities, and Type. Let's understand these better. Now you might want your cat to have physical disabilities, in that case - it's best to add it in this section. Sometimes people ask to research the disability before rping with one, and in that case, you might want to double check, and make sure you do. EX ((my cat is blind)) Acornstone is a cat with clear, unseeing eyes. He was not always like this, when he became a warrior his eyes got scratched by a badger. Since that day - he hasn’t been able to use them… see? Added a quick explanation on how the disability was! Abilities, if you said your character is able to pounce well, then you might want to add in that they have strong back legs. If you have a name like ‘Weaselwisper', you might want your cat to be small and sturdy with a soft voice. When making your character’s voice, try to include details about, Fur color, fur type, eye color, disabilities, voice type, size, weight, body type, and any other interesting details! Ex- Duckquack is a funky tom with spiky yellow fur. He has big amber eyes and a joyful face that is always smiling. He is of the sturdy and strong type. He was born without a tail, and what is left is just a yellow stump. He has a loud and squeaky voice. ((hence the name)) He weighed 10 pounds and stands at a mighty 9.8 inches high. Duckquack also has puffy ear tips. See? Added all the details plus a bit extra :P Personality. Personally this is one a struggle with, so I made sure to make this section really detailed. What I find useful is to start by listing out three positives (+) three negatives (-) and three neutrals (=). Positives are traits that are generally on the happy side ((like kind or caring) , negatives on the ‘bad’ side ((aggressive or rude))neutrals are traits that are neither ‘good’ or ‘bad’. ((Like shyness or openness) Now let's get our list. (+) ambitious (+)courageous (+)loyal (-)stubborn (-)manipulative (-)sly (=)adventurous (=)hyper (=)optimistic Okay! Now let's turn these into a small paragraph… Kinksizzle is an optimistic and hyper chap. She never hesitates to go into battle or go on adventures. Her ambition to be clan leader is what drives her, but her loyalty to those she trusts is firm. Throughout her life, she has done many courageous things, and this trait shines through. On the other hand, she has a stubborn streak that is very ‘showy’. Getting her to do something she doesn't want to is VERY hard, and only her family and friends can get through to her. Kinksizzle is also manipulative, and it comes in handy being stubborn! Knowing why she doesn't listen to others helps her find out the best ways to trick people into doing what she wants. She also tends to sneak around and sly is definitely in her vocabulary. So most of the rp’s I've been in have a ‘family’ section. So, we're also going to touch base with that. If we have actual ties with rpers ((if an ACTUAL LIVING scratcher agrees on this)) then add it to their relationship. Now, if we don't have any connection with anyone - I find it more realistic to make up some sort of story of how they don’t have parents or kin or whatever it is. You can also agree with another scratcher to have a non -blood relationship. Like ‘best friend’ or ‘adopted parent.’ Example - Crevicepaw is kin to both Padpaw and Ryepaw. They are littermates and cares for each other strongly. His parents are dead from a battle with bloodclan. They died saving their clan. Creakpaw has always stayed close to Crevicepaw, and the elders joke that they are long-lost twins. That's it for right now guys, sorry :D Though I am planning on having more projects like this bc…. Why not?
