(This story takes place six years ago in Blossom's life) Blossom watched as rain fell around her, her pelt was doused, but Blossom didn’t care, and as water puddled around her a rumbling sound rolled across the sky, she thought the rain was one of the prettiest things ever! “Blossom come inside!” She heard her mother shout, as a crash sounded nearby quickly followed by the rumbling noise again. “Okay!” She shouted back, walking to the door and opening it, looking around she saw her mother cooking in the kitchen, and her father coming towards her with a towel. “Let’s get you dried off for dinner.” He said, as he wrapped the towel around Blossom and ruffled her fur passionately. Blossom shook her tail off after she was dry and proceeded over to where her older twin siblings were playing, well more playfully tackling each other that is. “Hi sprig, hi sprout.” She greeted, sitting down, the two nodded at her before continuing their playing, Blossom soon got bored and walked up the stairs to her bedroom well her and her two sisters's, who were in the room, both were reading, but they looked over when Blossom entered the room. “Hi Blossom.” Mint greeted, Tulip waved before they both went back to reading. Blossom sat next to Mint reading over her shoulder as another crash practically shook the house, “Dinner!” Shouted a voice from downstairs, “coming!” Mint shouted back, and stood up, nudging Tulip to let her know it was time to eat, the trio went down to the dinner table, sitting down next to their brothers. Dinner proceeded as normal, then Tulip sniffed the air, and scrunched up her nose in a look that said something smelled bad. Lilac noticed it next, “Does anyone else smell smoke?” She asked, looking up at the second floor, smoke was trickling out from the girl's room, “Uh Autumn sweetie we have a problem,” she said to her mate pointing out the smoke which was quickly growing thicker, “Fire!” Autumn shouted to his kids, Lilac facepalmed as her children looked confused briefly, then looked at the smoke and got up in a panic, well accept Tulip and Blossom. Blossom looked at the smoke with startled eyes, as everyone ran around she heard shouts like: “get water!” or “move that plant!” once even “no, Sprout don’t play in it!” Another crash, and a white flash broke through the ceiling and the main room burst into growing flames. Lilac looked at it. “Everyone get out!” She shouted grabbing Blossom by the scruff and bringing her to the door, she turned around as she heard wood fall and saw one of the rafters on top of Tulip, she ran over to help everyone else did the same accept for Blossom who stayed where she was put, by the time the family had moved the rafter, fire had surrounded them, Lilac looked at Blossom, “Run!” She shouted, as another blaze erupted in front of the door, Blossom sped away, looking back at the burning shape of her house, a tear rolled down her face, and she curled up where she was, Blossom didn’t know how long she had just laid there crying, but the fire was dying down when a soft voice interrupted her thoughts. “Are you hurt?” The voice asked as a winged figure stepped out from the trees. “N-no.” Blossom replied. The figure lit a lantern, “My name is Bloom, I saw you running from that fire, where's the rest of your family?” Blossom stayed quiet, either unwilling or just to upset to answer. “I see,” Bloom paused, “you can live with me if you've nowhere else to go.” Blossom pause then carefully replied, “S-Sure.” The two then walked into the forest, Bloom began carrying Blossom after a while, and Blossom fell asleep.
