Original Description: press spacebar to shoot, look below for lore. --BASIC INFO-- The Altewer riflemusket is a Dynabloxian caplock rifle that was as long as a common smoothbore musket, manufactured by the Altewer Arms company, giving it its name. --BASIC INFO-- The Altewer Riflemusket was first manufactured in 1817, due to the percussion cap being invented during that time. It was high-caliber for the average rifle of the time (it used .50-size bullets, instead of .30-sized ones), and quicker to load, due to the caplock ignition and the bullet being of a design similar to a Minie ball, which made it much easier to load, compared to older rifles. It was a huge improvement from the smoothbore musket, and a slight improvement from the flintlock rifle. --MILITARY USAGE-- In 1820, the Dynabloxian Army was looking for a new infantry firearm, and bought 50 of them for testing, plus ammunition. During said testing, the Altewer outranged all of its competitors (which were smoothbore caplock muskets), while still being as quick to load as a musket. Due to it being much more accuate, powerful, and slightly quicker to reload than a the old flintlock of the previous generation of firearms, the Altewer won, and was put into production. Because of its increased accuracy, Dynabloxian infantry gained a considerable range advantage over their enemies, allowing them to attack within mid-range for their riflemuskets, but out of the range of a average smoothbore. Said advantage would considerably help the Dynabloxians achieve victory simply by just shooting the enemies from far away, until the advent of breechloaders. (though by then, the dynabloxians had repeater rifles...) idk that's all the lore i could come up with for this. i suck at writing lore for guns, i hope this lore is understandable
