Original Description: spacebar to shoot, making this was kinda delayed because of how late i was making it (the lore, not the animation) yesterday. animation might be slightly crappier and so would the drawing, because i'm on a different computer as of now. --BASIC INFO-- The Stinnelly is a Dynabloxian sub-machinegun (sometimes referred to as a subgun) first manufactured in 1912, and improved in 1974 to be more modernized.(i.e, they replaced wood with strong plastic, lowered its caliber, and also shortened it a bit.) --MILITARY HISTORY-- In the early 1900s, after the invention of the machine gun, weapon makers wondered if it were possible to take the full-auto of a machine gun, and put it into a rifle or carbine-sized package, without being too heavy, cumbersome, or unreliable. The Dynabloxian Army was wondering if this was possible, too, and after the great arms race that... nobody truly won in the 1860s - 1890s, they were eager to test and put into manufacture anything that could give them any sort of firepower advantage... as long as it was cheap and able to last, without being replaced by a slightly better weapon a year later, forcing them to manufacture something else, which would be very costly than just making the same thing over and over. And, in 1912, the newly-made Stinnelly Automatic Arms company thought they had a weapon worthy of their use. And, it was worthy, because of its very reliable blowback system, and compact size helping it to be lighter. And, although the Stinnelly did fire more rapidly than even the fastest semi-automatics of the time (yes i know that in the project/animation it doesn't fire that fast, only being able to manage like aprox 258 RPM, but the Stinnelly would actually be able to fire at 500 RPM), it was only able to fire as fast as the average mounted machine gun of the time. However, due to its other properties, the Stinelly SMG caught the interest of the Dynabloxian army, and ordered a few for testing, plus ammo. The weapon became a favorite among the Dynabloxian army, due to it being a machine gun in a lighter, smaller, and handier package. Thus, it was put into manufacture, and was generally in use by support troops, generally because the short effective range of the Stinnelly would usually not fare well with longer-ranged weapons. In 1974, the Stinelly was modernized to fit in with more modern weapons, and I'll go into the lore of that whenI make the project about the 1974 model.
