Just like that, when Allium and Neon, her parents, noticed she had the rare and illegal lilac-dew wings and glowing paws, they marked her as an outcast by taking the color of one of her eyes, which became blind. They named her Lilac, which represented her wings. Her tribe banished her as a kit, thinking she would surely die, but one of her ancestors, Nightmare, visited her in her sleep and gave little Lilac the power to harness the wills of others, even other creatures and plants. 7 moons later, Lilac returns to her tribe, disguised as a loner, and then reveals her true self once the tribe has gotten comfortable with her. However, instead of controlling their wills to let her in, Lilac wanted to explain to them why they should allow her in, and why it wasn't fair for her to be an outcast just because of her lilac-dew wings and glowing paws, but Nightmare took control of her body, and k!lled most of Lilac's tribe. Only after Lilac was returned to her body did she realize that Nightmare was just using her to get revenge at the tribe for making her outcast while she was still alive...
