Hey guys! So I am a bit mad at Mapleshades story. I feel like Appledusk gets to play the hero in this tale. But is he really? He had abandoned her in her most dire need and that seemed to be a tipping point to Mapleshades descent into darkness. I wonder what would have happened if instead of turning her away but accepting her in the clan, she would not turn the way she did. Those cats she killed would not have died. On that note, I feel like there was more than just revenge like everyone says. She had continued to see her kits in ghost form and wanted them to go to Starclan. She may have been slightly insane, but the only thing in her mind that could get them there was to pay back what was dealt to the kits. This is all my opinion and I would LOVE If you would share yours!!
