Description

SEQUEL!!! R.B.T.L is back, and with a whole new way to play, now we can something to really compete over as now there is a "speedrun" option and a cloud stored world record because so many of you guys asked for it in the first game. Instructions: *Click the dot and drag to drawl the line to the goal *Don't touch the lines *See cloud data to see who holds the current WR as well as preivious WRs About: Well, here it is, the sequel is finally here in all of its glory. As you can see the game play has been changed entirely but it still manages to keep that same calming, satisfying, and fun vibe that the first one does, except this one is way more rage inducing. Anyway, this is how the first game was supposed to originally be. Allow me to explain, The original idea for the first game came from me being bored one day in class. There I was sitting at my desk with a pencil in my hand and a worksheet in front of me. I was struggling to think of something to draw on it, because I didn't want to actually do the work. And when I couldn't think of anything, I took the pencil and started drawing lines through the spaces of the letters of the text on my paper. I then tried to see how fast I could do it without drawing over the letters. And once I ran out of letters, I started to draw two parallel lines then drew a dot to indicate where you would start the line at, then proceeded to draw a line through it. This became my new thing to do when I was bored and didn't know what to draw. I then said to myself that this would make a great video game. But this was before I was on scratch. Fast forward a few years and I was sitting in my room trying to come up with a new game idea that could possible get featured, I then remembered the game I made on pen and paper all those years ago (keep in mind this had no official name yet). I then created a new project and got to work. In my head I knew right from the start that I would need a good looking menu screen and a unique art style to become a featured project. Once the menu was done, I started working on the actual game play, but when it came time to make it to where you could draw, I was using clones in order to make the drawling but then realized that moving too fast would make the clones separate, so it looked less like a line, and more of a few dots in a line formation. Also I had no idea how to use the pen extension at the time. So I gave up on the idea, but I didn't want to scrap the game, so I made it into what it is now. But I was haunted by the idea of it not being what I wanted so finally bringing my original idea into life as intended through this sequel really makes me happy, and i hope it does same for you all too. P.S. I'm sorry you had to read all this :)
