Snowflakes! Draws snowflakes as 6 conifer trees connected at center. Each snowflake here has randomly varied angles of 2ndary branching.
Notice these snowflakes have the branching characteristic of trees. Each branch itself has smaller branches, each like a smaller tree. Because the same pattern repeats at smaller and smaller scales, it is "fractal." This type of branching is different than the typical fractal trees, in which each single branch ends at the point that it splits into two (like a deciduous tree). The trees I use here have branches that continue such that each single branch continues even as it adds two branches on each side, as in the evergreen coniferous trees we associate with Christmas.
