READ DOWN IN THE NOTES FOR AN EXPLANATION OF SONG CHOICES AND WHAT THEY MEAN AND REPRESENT --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, if you don't know what 9/11 is, or means, then here it is. Planes were hijacked by a terrorist group, meant to scare us. A plane crashed at the Twin Towers, or the World trade Center. Another plane crashed into the Pentagon, and one plane attempted to crash the Capitol building in Pennsylvania, but the people on the plane had heard about the other attacks and decided to do something. We remember all who died as heroes in that attack. This attack on America by the terrorist group was meant to scare us. But do you know what happened? Everyone was brought together, helping each other, trying to see what they could do to help others. Hope grew that day, Hope was born that day. The terrorists wanted to scare us, but we didn't let that happen. We fought back. And now we remember all those who died, all those who helped fight back. Thank you, America. Thank you to the heroes that made hope rise from the ashes of the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Thank you.
Press 1 to play This is Gospel, by Panic! At the disco. I thought this song was important, because it talks of how we still love people even though they pass away. A lot of people died on the 9/11 attack, and we should remember them and talk of them as heroes. Press 2 to play the Lighthouse by the Hush Sound, I believe. I thought this song was important, because it's saying at the beginning, "The city will be earth in a short while, if i'm not mistaken, it's been in flames, you and I will escape to the seaside." So, basically, that's the attack, the part about the city being earth, and then someone escaping to the sea. The lighthouse part isn't that relevent, but the mood is.
