They have a retractable stinger. aculeomus live in colonies and have very complex social lives. in fact, they are actually very friendly and can be kept as pets, and recent research suggests that they can even form bonds. If you provoke one or seem like a threat in any way, they will draw out it's retractable poisonous stinger and it will sting you with it, injecting you with neurotoxins that will kill you in 5 minutes. hatchling aculeomus have been scientifically proven to actually be larvae. aculeomus lay eggs, and they actually shed their skin sometimes, but recent research proves that they are actually mammals. you can find aculeomus in caves, dens, or rabbit holes anywhere
