Basically I was struck with the thought- What if nothing in my story happened? What if Molly didn’t get found by the Shadow monsters? What if she survived the forest fire? What if she got to live with her mother and all her siblings and grew up as a normal Maraccan? So here we are. For starters, she doesn’t have scars, no purple bits, and is more a spring green than the dusty bluish green she normally is. And I drew her with her hair(?) floofing outward rather than curling in. Molly definitely has some stress and insecurities, as most do, but she’s nowhere near as mentally strained as Lilac, and a lot more open. A bit bashful and very caring. Teen Molly is probably not very or not at all that interested in science and such compared to Lilac, rather having an interest in botany and the uses/purposes of plants. Would she still end up with Zia? Idk Name suggestion? She would’ve kept the name Molly (named after her grandmother Moll) for most of her childhood but Maraccans change their names- sorta as a right of passage- when they get older
