Wave the flag and then read the story in the notes and credits. Music from Ace Attorney
Acid rained down from the sky. She began to cry. Watching as the world went by. There was no reason to be shy. As she would soon say goodbye. The conditions of this world would only amplify. Is this the future that's gonna die? ==== The sky above was still covered in thick clouds and it began to rain. It dropped steadily and made the streets slick. Most of the population were running for cover, looking over their shoulders as they did so. People huddled inside buildings or under highway bridges. Everyone wanted to avoid getting too close to any of the disastrous weather. They would find shelter until the worst passed, then go back out to find any remaining food and supplies. However, there were not enough to go around. And as the skies grew darker it became harder to see where you were going. A young girl walked slowly down the street heading towards the shelter. She was bundled up in protective pants, a heavy thick coat with the hood stings tied as tightly as possible over her protective gas mask over her face. There wasn’t much else she could do outside. The Acid Rains drizzled on her protective hood and occasionally splattered across her mask. This was no ordinary storm, but an apocalyptic one caused by mass amounts of global warming and pollution. There was no denying it anymore. She turned the corner onto a side street. A large metal sign caught her eye. Written on it were the words “Hotel”. The girl approached the entrance door and entered the hotel lobby. The lobby was dimly lit and empty. Some chairs were scattered here and there. The walls seemed to be lined with hundreds of photo framed postcard photographs depicting different scenes of the Earth. They were all different, from almost every culture and era. She recognized some of them from the history textbooks she read. She smiled and ran her fingers gently along the edge of the glass. Then the smile faded into something more melancholy. She continued looking at the photograph and tried to remember the things that had happened since she had last visited the United States. She couldn't. ==== We must take action to prevent the events from coming. Preventing pollution isn't the only thing we can do. Let's make our planet a safer place to live. Pick up trash, use less energy when it's not necessary, and by small and in simple steps, we can bring great things to pass in the future.
