Bethnick was Nino's (past life) adopted father, I forgot how it went (I hope to change it up a bit) but he really hated Nino. so during night time Bethnick went into Nino's room when she was sleeping and st@bbed 2 wooden sticks into her eyes, he ran out of the room and without any context he decides sets the house on f!re. (I can't believe her own family members didn't come to save her lol) ye that's the story I guess
